Who we are This Policy describes C+R Research, Inc.’s information collection practices relating to the websites at which this policy is located, including www.crresearch.com, www.netcrimson.com, www.KidzEyes.com, www.teeneyes.com, www.latinoeyes.com, www.parentspeak.com, www.simplyfreshinsights.com (collectively, the "Sites"). C+R Research is located at 500 N. Michigan Ave, Chicago IL 60611. This policy does not cover information collected offline or elsewhere by C+R Research.
What we collect Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, it describes how we use personally identifiable information about you (information such as email addresses, names, physical addresses, and phone numbers that could be used to uniquely identify you as an individual). Information we collect also may include background information about you or members of your household, demographic information, information about your opinions and preferences, and other non-identifiable information we might collect.

How is my information collected? We collect information directly from you - for example, when you register for a panel, participate in a survey, fill out a form requesting information from us, or give us access to information you post to a social networking site, such as Facebook.

We collect information from you passively - we use common tracking techniques like traditional cookies, Flash cookies, and web beacons. This policy describes how and when we use these technologies.

Third parties we work with may also give us information about you - for example, our clients, on whose behalf we conduct research projects of various kinds.

With our clients for their business purposes - for example companies on whose behalf we conduct various kinds of research projects. The following information is shared:
  • We share non-identifiable information from research projects with clients. This includes background information combined with survey opinion data.

We cannot guarantee, however, that the information we collect will remain secure. The Internet by its nature is a public medium, and we encourage you to use caution when disclosing information online.
Your Rights for California Residents If you have an established business relationship with us you may request from us a list of the categories of personal information we have disclosed to third parties for those third parties’ marketing purposes during the previous calendar year, and a list of those third parties. We will include in that list the names and addresses of the third parties who received the information and used it (or who we believe may have used it) for their own marketing purposes in the last calendar year.

To exercise your rights, you may make one request each year by emailing us at privacy@crresearch.com or writing us at the address listed in the "Contact Us" section below. Indicate in your letter that you are a California resident making a "Shine the Light" inquiry. Responses will be provided within 30 days.
Non-US Users The Sites are operated in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to us will be transferred to the United States and that by using the Sites/giving your information, you consent to such transfer, and understand that the U.S. may not provide the same level of protections as the laws of your country.
Links to Third Party Sites Please be aware that when you are on this Web Site or viewing an e-mail from us, you could be directed to other web pages or online content through links that take you outside our service and are beyond our control.
